This app adds Vancouver TransLink buses information to MonTransit.

This app provides the buses schedule (offline and real-time) and news from www.translink.ca and @TransLink and @TransLinkMedia on Twitter.

TransLink buses serves the Metro Vancouver region in British Columbia, Canada.

Once this application is installed, the MonTransit app will display buses information (schedule...).

This application only has a temporary icon: download the MonTransit app (free) in the "More ..." section bellow or by following this Google Play link https://goo.gl/pCk5mV

You can install this application on the SD card but it is not recommended.

The information comes from the GTFS file provided by TransLink.

When it works, it's fairly accurate and works well. However, the app keeps disabling itself and it's frustrating having to come back to play store to re-enable it. I followed the instructions and tried to fix my settings for sleeping apps but it has not helped

Hi Cora, sorry about that. Samsung is trying to outsmart Google in battery saving optimizations by auto-disabling apps that are not opened often and it's breaking apps like MonTransit (more at: dontkillmyapp.com). this app continues to circle and circle and circle. I have tried to access Vancouver TransLink and it continues to send me back to Google Play to reinstall the program. I have done that five times and still cannot get my Vancouver busses "Nearby" option to work. I can get other options listed in the menu but not the "Nearby" option which is the one I use most frequently

Hi Douglas, sorry about that. Can you check if your device location settings is turned on (GPS, Wi-Fi, mobile networks...)? Can you see a blue dot in other location-based apps like Google Maps? Update your review or contact mtransit.apps@gmail.com for more information. Thanks

usually great, but with this most recent update it refuses to stay enabled and I constantly have to come back into Google Play to turn it back on. at least my faves stay saved. Edit - thank you for the fix. Love this app.
